Our client

Our client is an established platform provider to the sports betting and gaming industry, offering a full turnkey solution. Over the last 15 years the business has enjoyed strong growth, and today employs almost 300 people. Today they are in the process of embarking on a scale up strategy with major expansion plans, including new market penetration. Our client currently operates from 5 offices spread across Eastern and Western Europe and have plans for future sites in Africa and Asia. This is a dynamic business at the cutting edge of the iGaming industry and as part of their expansion, they are now looking to recruit a Commercial Account Manager.

The role

Reporting into the Head of Commercial Account Management, this role has recently been created to help keep up with this business’s current rapid expansion. You will have an opportunity to jump into the account management team at a period of high growth and there is an expectation that the team will grow significantly with the next 6 to 12 months. As a result, your success in this role can lead to career progression into a team leader level role.

Depending on your experience, you will deal with tier 1, 2 and 3 operators across various geographical jurisdictions. However, in the longer term you may take a regionally focussed approach. You will also be required to present quarterly reviews to these customers where you will use data to offer advice on how they can drive their business forward.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a keen eye for data
  • Excel at forging long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Use their knowhow to handle the customer cycle from onboarding to going live
  • Focus on pushing customer business revenues
  • Manage hopes and expectations of numerous different clients simultaneously
  • Make use of internal departments to offer clients a practical analysis and make proposals to assist in maximising value from the company’s iGaming platform
  • Work in conjunction with the technical account management team
  • Partner with the internal sales team and the Head of Commercial Account Management on all new client opportunities
  • Present KPI reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Seek out new business development opportunities with existing clients

Requirements

Experience within B2B sports betting or iGaming is required, ideally having worked for a platform provider.  However, strong candidates who have experience working in a similar role for a B2B casino content or sports data provider are also encouraged to apply. In addition to this, someone who is confident in talking about the industry with multi-jurisdiction experience would be highly valued.

  • 3+ years’ B2B iGaming experience in account management
  • Adept at using data to guide and justify commercial decisions with new and existing accounts
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Solid negotiation skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience of using CRM systems.
  • Someone prepared to challenge themselves and step out of their comfort zones
